TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (and the age of majority to make payments) to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

2. The Service

The NPA provides software tools for organizing leagues and teams, scheduling games, verifying results, tracking statistics and standings, collecting registration/access fees, and sharing community highlights. The NPA is a league-management software platform only — it does not organize, run, administer, or guarantee any prize, contest, or cash competition. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time.

3. Payments, Registration Fees & the NPA League Pass

• The NPA League Pass is a seasonal software license that grants a League President access to The NPA's league-management platform for one season. It is a software access fee — not a wager, deposit, bet, or entry into any contest of chance, and it does not entitle the holder to any winnings.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By paying through the Service you also agree to Stripe's applicable terms.
• The one-time NPA League Pass that activates a league, together with any NPA Revenue Share charged by The NPA, is described at the point of purchase. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the NPA League Pass and NPA Revenue Share are non-refundable.
• League Presidents may set a per-team Registration Fee (also referred to as an Access Fee) that grants teams access to their season. Registration Fees pay for access to The NPA's league-management software and services only.
• No prizes are offered by The NPA. The NPA does not offer, hold, award, distribute, or guarantee any prize, pot, or cash payout. If a League President chooses to institute a prize for their league, that prize — including its collection, holding, and distribution — is arranged and administered entirely by that League President, outside of and independent from The NPA. The NPA is not a party to, is not responsible for, and is not liable for any such prize arrangement or the interactions between League Presidents and participants.
• For running any prize pool or payout, we suggest using a dedicated third-party service such as LeagueSafe.com, since The NPA does not handle that aspect.
• You are responsible for any taxes associated with fees you collect or amounts you receive.

4. Payouts (Stripe Connect)

Registration/Access Fees collected through the Service are paid to League Presidents through Stripe Connect. A League President must activate the applicable NPA League Pass to activate their league before they can set up or receive payouts. To receive payouts you must complete Stripe's onboarding and identity verification and maintain an account in good standing. Payout timing and availability are subject to Stripe's processing and review. The NPA does not process prize or winner payouts, and we are not liable for delays, holds, or reversals imposed by Stripe or payment networks.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false results, manipulate statistics, cheat, or otherwise undermine competitive integrity.
• Impersonate others, harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or content you do not have the rights to share.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Use the Service for fraud, money laundering, or any illegal activity.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as highlights, screenshots, and profile media), and you grant The NPA a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. You are responsible for the content you submit and represent that you have the rights to share it. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by The NPA and protected by applicable laws. "NBA 2K" and related marks are the property of their respective owners; The NPA is an independent community platform and is not endorsed by or affiliated with the NBA or 2K Games.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The NPA and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or funds, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or harms the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
